FAQ

How this actually works.

The pricing shape, who's on the team, and the questions producers usually ask before they book a call. (For the step-by-step process, see Our Work.)

How pricing works

Scoped to the program, not off a rate card.

Every engagement is priced around the actual shape of the work — how many partners, how many days, and how much of it is direction versus systems. Most start as a Design & Direction engagement and expand into Systems work once we're already in the room and can see what repeats.

The first call is free, and it's where we map that shape together — no proposal shows up before you've had a chance to tell us the messy version.

Proof: DC/DOX

Three years of ticketing data across 60+ sessions, turned into four scheduling and room-assignment changes that lifted attendance. Started as direction, grew into systems.

Proof: Motion Social

Started as one Miami Music Week event. Now the company's internal training and event-operations platform — the system that lets their team run programs without us.

The team

Led by one founder, staffed engagement by engagement.

Querida Parchita Studio is led by Isabella Martinez-Aleman, and staffed engagement by engagement with a trained bench of producers, facilitators, and floor managers — the same 18-person team that runs DC/DOX's forum track scales up or down to fit your program.

Questions people ask before booking

Before you call.

We're a small team — can you actually take this off our plate?

That's the point of Design & Direction: we don't add another person to your meetings, we take the coordination itself. You keep making the creative calls; we run the room.

Will you have the same finesse as people who already know our culture?

Authenticity is one of the four things we won't cut. We design programs that sound like the people and communities behind them — never a template dressed up as a brand — and if it isn't true to you, we rewrite it before it ships.

We're backlogged. How fast can you start?

Book a call and we'll tell you honestly. Most engagements start within a few weeks of the first conversation — sooner if the program is already in motion.

What if we only need the program directed, not the systems (or the other way around)?

Most programs need some of both, but they're not bundled — you can start with just Design & Direction. Systems work usually reveals itself once we're already in the room, and we build it then.

What does "Systems" actually mean, concretely?

Dashboards built from your ticketing or attendance data, training platforms for your team and partners, companion apps, and standardized processes that outlast any one program. Motion Social's internal training and event-operations platform is the clearest example.

Do you work outside Miami and Washington, DC?

Yes — those are where our current programs live, not a boundary. If your program has multiple partners and moving pieces, we want to hear about it wherever it's happening.

Still deciding?

Book a call — it's free, and it's the fastest way to find out if we're the right partner for your program.
